Karen takes her inspiration from nature and the interaction of visual forces: light, colour, and form.
She is continually striving to achieve new depths to her work, treating these forces as ultimate identities, and freeing them from all descriptive and functional roles.
Karen has been producing her bold, brilliant, contemporary artworks in her own inimitable style for over 28 years. Her works hang in many private as well as corporate collections in South Africa and in many other countries.
Her studio lies in a private game reserve between the World Heritage site of the Cradle of Mankind and the majestic Magaliesburg mountain range, about 30 minutes away from the Northern suburbs of Johannesburg, South Africa.
Commissions are always welcome – please contact Karen to discuss these.
